🌟 A Leap Towards Global Education

Graduating from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), I knew that enhancing my English proficiency would be crucial for my future career. While my academic background was strong, I realized that mastering English would set me apart in the competitive job market. That’s when I decided to study at ELC (English Language Company) in Australia—a decision that would ultimately shape my career in ways I hadn’t imagined.

.

🎓 Studying & Gaining Experience in Australia

Moving to Australia was an eye-opening experience. ELC provided an immersive English-learning environment, pushing me beyond textbooks and into real-world communication. It wasn’t just about grammar and vocabulary—I learned how to confidently interact in professional and social settings.

To support my studies and gain practical experience, I took on a part-time job at Uncle Tetsu’s cake shop. This wasn’t just about earning money; it was a hands-on lesson in:

  • Customer service and cross-cultural communication

  • Workplace professionalism in a fast-paced environment

  • Time management and adaptability

Balancing work and studies in a foreign country taught me resilience, independence, and how to think on my feet—skills that would later prove invaluable in my professional journey.

.

🎡 Breaking into the Corporate World with a Global Mindset

After returning to Thailand, I was determined to apply my English proficiency and international experience to a corporate career. My first role was in procurement at a Japanese company, where my ability to communicate fluently in English gave me a competitive edge. The ability to:

  • Negotiate with international suppliers

  • Coordinate with diverse teams across different regions

  • Present and communicate professionally in English

....helped me stand out and secure a position in an industry that values global connectivity.

Determined to continue growing, I pursued a Master’s degree at Chulalongkorn University, graduating in 2022. With an advanced degree and solid international experience, I was ready to take on greater responsibilities.

Today, I work as a procurement specialist at CP Group, one of Thailand’s largest and most influential conglomerates. The skills I gained from my time in Australia—language proficiency, problem-solving, and adaptability—were instrumental in helping me climb the corporate ladder and establish a strong foundation for a successful career.

💡 Advice for Future Students

Studying abroad is more than just earning a certificate—it’s an opportunity to develop the mindset, skills, and global perspective that employers value. Here’s my advice:

🌟 Invest in language skills – Being fluent in English can open doors to career opportunities you never thought possible.

🌟 Gain real-world experience – Part-time jobs or internships provide valuable skills beyond the classroom.

🌟 Be adaptable and proactive – Navigating a new country teaches resilience, problem-solving, and independence.

.

💎 Final Thoughts

Looking back, my decision to study in Australia was a turning point in my career. It gave me the confidence, skills, and experience to enter Thailand’s corporate world at a high level.
